    A great woodworking project for the nautical enthusiast! Build this lighthouse out of 5/4 treated deck boards, which can easily be found at your local home improvement store.  The roof is made with a common PVC marine piling cap, which is great for exposure to the elements. The wood plans for this lawn lighthouse are better than a set of blueprints -
    illustrations and photos accompany every step of the way. You will get full color plans, with pages and lots of how-to photos.  The plans will explain how to build it from beginning to end. With some intermediate woodworking skills and common shop tools, you can build this attractive lighthouse for your yard. The photo shows the treated lighthouse with an exterior deck stain "Cape Cod Gray". You can leave it natural or choose one of many color stains on the market.
    Note: The lighthouse does
    not
    include a light, but if you're handy it will be no problem installing one inside. Mesh is placed in the windows to keep insects out.
