Description

Please read carefully, this auction is only for the repair service, not the actual piano or mother board!
The repair service is for the following Clavinova models: CVP 92, CVP 94, CVP 96, and CVP 98.
If your Yamaha Clavinova CVP 90 series digital pianos have one or more of the following problems, it's quite possible that you have a bad mother board (digital module board or DM board).
Typical Symptoms:
- Only having sound on either left or right channel
- Cracking noise, especially when playing layered sounds
- No sound at all but speakers work fine with input from "Aux In"
- The LCD screen has back-light but no display, the piano doesn't power up
It is easy to determine if the problem is at the DM board or at the speakers. You can connect your ipod or other audio sources to the "Aux In" connectors on your piano and turn on both the iPod and piano and play some music on the ipod. If you can hear sound from speakers on both sides, the speaker system is good and the problems are on the DM board. A new board would cost more than ,000 but the good news is that we may be able to repair the board for much less and get your beloved piano back to life. In the past several years, we have successfully repaired more than 10 Clavinova CVP 90 series pianos with various problems.
Here is how it works. Before you bid on our service, we'd like you to send us messages to tell us the details of the problems. Once we determine that it can be repaired, we will email you the detailed instructions for taking the DM board out and sending to us for repair. Typically it will take us approximately a week or so to repair it, but sometimes it could take longer due to extra time for acquiring necessary parts. Please be advised that there is a small chance that some DM boards can't be repaired due to various reasons such as unavailable parts , failure of major ICs, etc. In that case you will be honored 100% refund and the board will be shipped back to you at no charge to you. So in the worst scenario, all you may lose is the shipping cost to send your board to us. Please let us know if you have any questions and we'll be looking forward to helping you. Thanks.
