Description
Plans to build Studio Grade Artist’s EaselsThese plans include a complete materials list, dimensions, drawings, and many color photos of every detail to enable you to construct three different models of Studio Grade Artist’s Easels.
These are not toys, they are rugged and fully adjustable with several options.
They will all hold both large and small canvases.
The deluxe Model A allows canvases to be tipped forward for more convenient work on very tall canvases.
One of the pictures shows the original prototype of Model A which has been in use for almost 20 years with no problems; the only changes in this basic design add a better top clamp and simplify construction for novices.
These are very strong and reliable easels with almost limitless adjustability for holding various sizes of canvases in multiple positions.
The last picture shows Model A with the large piece mounted low and tipped forward for easy access from a wheelchair or other seated position.
There are two different options for tipping canvases forward with Model A.
