Omega Yeast is a great local yeast company a few blocks from our shop. The yeast is in high demand and not always in stock. We get the yeast fresh from them every few days based on demand. Please place an order and if we don't have it in stock we can usually get it and ship the next day for orders placed before 4pm CST. If it will take longer than a day we will let you know. A productive, brewer-friendly top cropper attributed to a historic London brewery whose lab once hosted Louis Pasteur, British Ale I drops fast and clear, and is clean and crisp at low temperatures with heightened esters and a lightly tart, dry finish at the upper range. Try also British VIII (OYL-016). 100 mL pack good for 5 gallons of wort with water, yeast, barley, malt extract, hops as the only ingredients. Each pack now contains 150 mL of yeast slurry to enhance the brewer's experience!
