Use these PLANS to build your own Olde Pine Box coffin bookcase and save!Use as novelty bookcase, theater or Halloween prop, or as actual burial casket.
Can build unlined for less than 0 and fully lined for open casket display for under 5.
I am selling the Complete Plans for .50 -- I am NOT selling completed coffins or kits.
Funeral costs are high these days.
Whether burial or cremation, most people elect to use some sort of coffin at some point.
Coffins cost between (unlined, uncovered cardboard for cremation) to ,000 for high end furniture grade wooden lined coffins.
Most folks spend 00 – ,500 for coffins appropriate for open casket viewings and burial.
Even for cremation, if a viewing is intended a presentable lined coffin costs over 00.
The simple “pine box” is not available through most funeral homes.
A few companies offer unfinished rectangular boxes without linings from 0 - 00.
But you can build this traditional shaped pine box casket and use it as a bookshelf until needed for burial for as little as 0 unlined or 5 for the fully lined display model shown in the photo.
