    Man of Notoriety  in Salem Massachusettes by E.R. Perkins 1860's CDV - I have had this photo before. It was in a collection of 5 Salem albums that were chocked full of famous people.
    This came from a collector's album. There were 4 total but the other 3 are long gone.
    He collected photographers, style and content and also famous people. The last 3 albums produced
    some gems as far as famous. I don't have time now to research these, so this will fall
    into one of the aforesaid categories.
