Description

A very rare and important collection of 37 images in the form of CDV's and tin types featuring 1860's views as well as marked for locations and names of the families, Jacob McAllister and the Greider family of Lancaster Pennsylvania and nearby towns which were prominent families of the locations there and nearby, again as marked on images. The major importance here is a very scarce full image of a young boy lieutenant in his Union frock coat and is wearing the plaid pants of the Scottish 79th Highlanders Regiment. As well there is a tintype featuring four men and two do  appear to be wearing Union uniforms as well.
This collection has been recently found and have never been offered for sale. The plaid trousers the young LT. is wearing makes this a most scarce image  Note *  These images may not be copied without the permission of the owner and have been privately copyrighted as such along with micro taggants on each image.
