The Story Behind the Comfort Cape
We are a family owned business. It was created by our mother, a hair dresser, who worked in nursing homes and retirement communities. Many of our mother's clients found it painful to lie back into a shampoo bowl. Other individuals
in a wheelchair were unable to lie back to get their hair washed. Our mother realized she needed a durable, lightweight, hands free and adjustable shampoo aid. After several prototypes the Comfort Cape Shampoo Sink Drape was developed and  surpassed her expectations. Our mother soon realized it was reducing her own back strain due to not having to bend over while shampooing her client's hair. Using the Comfort Cape Shampoo Sink Drape on all of her customers increased the efficiency and profitability of her salon. Our mother recognized that other hairdressers would benefit from using the Comfort Cape Shampoo Sink Drape. She patented, trademarked and started manufacturing the Comfort Cape Shampoo Sink Drape for retail. Throughout the years our family business has had tens of thousands of satisfied customers.
