    Description

    Clevite Engine Bearings Clearance Gauge "Plastigage"
    Part Number : MPG1
    "Plastigage" is a 12 inch long strip of precisely sized plastic material that used to measure for clearance before final engine assembly .
    It is placed between the crank shaft journal and the bearing then torqued in place .
    You then remove the cap + bearing and compare the width the material "squished" and see how much clearance you have using the packages gauge .
    MPG1 measures between .001" & .003"
