Original cabinet card of a man in military uniform, taken by Atlanta, Georgia photographer C.W. Motes.
He is not identified on the image but written on the album page this was in was "Captain Adams". Possibly a known Confederate figure in the Civil War? A collector on eBay also thinks he might be Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor recipient John Gregory Bishop Adams.
Cabinet card is 6.5" x 4.25" and in very good antique condition, a couple of light foxing spots, no creases.
