    Description

This is an original antique CDV photographic image of Commodore Nutt and Minnie Warren published by E. & H.T. Anthony of New York City using a genuine Matthew Brady negative. CDV is standard size with a good sepia toned image, and the photographer's information is on the back, as pictured. Commodore Nutt was actually George Washington Morrison, and he was hired by P.T. Barnum for his touring circus along with Minnie Warren. They worked for Barnum from 1869 to 1872, after which he split off on his own and did quite well. Minnie's sister married Tom Thumb in a lavish wedding that Barnum capitalized on. The CDV is in very good condition with just a bit of old pencil handwriting on the back. Matthew Brady photography is highly prized. Shipping is .00 First Class mail. There is a 30 day money back inspection period, and email for more information. Thank you.
